Being All Things to All – At All Times

The light adaptable spirit is able to blend into his or her environment such that hardly anyone notices, but they at the same time are a balm to wounds, ever ready to apply the right response to the given situation at hand. Being adaptable obviously requires an abundance of humility–the ability to be other-centred, but not to the loss of self. It’s a balance of both in such a way that the self is more than willing and able to serve. It sees a need to serve, and responds, out of intrinsic love.

Which Insecurities Are You Avoiding?

Insecurities are very common, and when not taken care of can cause deep wounds in our mental health as well as our physical health and lifestyle. The worst damages are the ones we bring upon ourselves, not the ones directed to us from others. There words or actions may bring harsh emotions on us, but it is up to us how we chose to handle them or how much merit we will give to them. The strength and weight of the words are what we place in them ourselves. Blaming yourself is not the way to go about things- you can take responsibility and move on in greater directions with ever having to feel guilt or shame. You are fabulous and need to know it.
