Half Full Or Half Empty? You Are the Author of Your Life-Story So You Can Re-Write the Plot

Do you know you can choose the way you perceive your experiences? One of the presuppositions of Neuro-Linguistic-Programming(NLP), which is often called the psychology of excellence because it provides a model of what high-achievers do, is that there is no failure, only feedback. In other words, you can choose to regard anything which does not work out right for you or the way you wanted it to, as a learning step in finding the right way to go about it. Most successful people, if you do even a little research, have experienced setbacks, and even what others might consider to be spectacular failures. You will see that they learned from their mistakes, made adjustments to the way they did things and had the faith and resilience to continue until they achieved success. I love hearing stories about people who were told, often when they were young, that they could not do something, that they lacked the abilities in some way, then went on to achieve remarkable results. There are many examples of this in the histories of famous people such as Einstein, Winston Churchill and so on.
