While it’s generally agreed upon that a “good” affirmation is one that’s personal, in the present tense, and so on, a friend of mine blew all that theory out of the water when her wonderfully “bad” affirmation, the one that broke all the rules of how to construct an affirmation, actually moved her from experiencing inner turmoil to knowing true inner peace. How could that be? Shouldn’t the exact opposite have occurred? That’s what the theory says at least, but I think there’s more going on than theory.
